My faith in the BBWA has been restored as they voted in A-Rod as the AL MVP. Looks like Papi will have to cultivate some defensive skills if he hopes to win a future title.

thanks for stopping by. i find that while there are plenty of yankees fans wherever you go, its hard to find fans that really know what is going on. sadly, this seems to be especially true here in socal!
i agree that he is a good athlete. however, his role on the sox is a dh, and his few appearances on the field have been weak at best. i'm not saying that he didn't have a great season - - he did - - but i believe that the MVP award should go to the athlete who made the biggest impact for their team on both sides of the inning.
