Thursday, November 17, 2005
Now that the Yanks have locked up Matsui, it's time for them to step up their seach for a third outfielder. Let's compile some opinions:

Who is the best fit to fill the void in the Yankees' centerfield?
Johnny Damon
Brian Giles
Kenny Lofton
Bernie Williams
None - use Bubba Crosby

There's still plenty of time for the Padres to send Mike Cameron over. I remember when David Justice was a Met, for about one month in the offseason, before being dealt to Oakland.

    If you're interested. :)

Do you also have a dog named Ryan Klesko?

I have problems with the idea of Brian Giles in a Yankees uniform. The question was about the void in center field, and the thought of B. Giles anywhere not in an outfield corner scares me.

We already have Sheff and Matsui. This team doesn't need another corner outfielder, it needs a guy who can play center and hit leadoff, setting the table for Derek and A-Rod...

Also, it was nice to meet you this weekend. :) There is a large contingent of Yanks fans that hang out in Carlsbad, anytime you and the Metsboy wanna join us you guys are more than welcome.

He doesn't, but the Padres do.

Also, Gilly is not nor has he ever been a centerfielder.

I know he's not a centerfielder. But matsui is. So giles could feasibly play left.
