More Clemens Legal Drama!

Sick of the Roger Clemens vs Brian McNamee story? Too bad! It's not going anywhere. Ever.

If you recall, Clemens slapped a defamation lawsuit on McNamee back in early February, which made its way to the federal court system shortly thereafter (because the suit involved residents of two separate states). McNamee has now fired back, asking the courts to throw out the case. The motion stated:
"Rather than acknowledging the truth of Mr. McNamee's allegations, Mr. Clemens has chosen to wage a public-relations battle against Mr. McNamee in the media and the Halls of Congress."
He also mentioned that all of this hoopla has affected his wallet, big time: he says he only netted about $1,500 during January and February combined. Poor baby.

I still can't say for sure that I believe McNamee's allegations. It certainly seems like he is telling the truth, and most of the public is agreeing with him, but I'm trying not to assume he's guilty until some proof turns up.

The key word there is "trying".

See who's on Clemens side after the jump!
