I Don't Think You're Ready For This Jelly
Saturday, June 02, 2007
The Yankees Chick is a very happy camper today, my lovelies, and not just because Mirabelli is such an incompetent moron. The Yanks' win and subsequent SURGE to just 12 1/2 games out in the division made for a swell start to my weekend, but today brings the commencement of a truly exciting journey as I embark on a 2-month adventure to NYC. I'm heading out east to work in CSTV's main office in Manhattan through August (it is said "real" job that prevents me from inundating this bloggity blog with posts chronicalling my every single hourly thought about the Yankees... Lucky for you!!), but I do plan on attending many games and hopefully tracking down (AKA stalking) Mr. Rodriguez so that I can be the next "mystery blonde" to be photographed with him. For all you folks out in NY, do not hesitate to invite me to a game, shower me with Yankees-related garb, or hook me up with A-Rod for a night of high-stakes hold-em... I'm game!

Are you ready for the heat and humidity that is summer here in the tri-state area.

And that smell in New York is actually coming from New Jersey.

Hope you enjoy your time in NYC. I'll be around the city for the time being doing my job search, since I graduated 2 weeks ago. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will offer to do so, but if you need to share the frustration of the Yankees performance, I can offer to help in dealing with it. Oh and enjoy the awful NYC bar prices.

Enjoy my neck of the woods, Maureen! Like "Ian" said though, you are going to be here for some brutally humid weather. If you make it down to Philadelphia, let me know!

wtf was that debacle yesterday -- home runs aren't supposed to be that easy, right? even though the red sox won, I am not pleased.

Even though it wasn't really Lowell's fault, the Red Sox have put two Yankees on the disabled list. Maybe Cano should have landed his cleats on Lowell's hand. I am disgusted with Tim Brown's latest column which makes the Red Sox sound like they've done something good.

Welcome to my town, Maureen. Would love to invite you to Yankee games, but I dunno about that Met fan guy of yours.

A-Rod is a huge douche and you are a moronic apologist. The guy needs to displace a fraction of his pathetic self-absorbed narcissim into saccing up and trying to rally his team of has-been losers. LOL.

    Good luck Mo, that's great!

    "A-Rod is a huge douche..."

To paraphrase Harry S. Truman, "He might be a douche, but at least he is our douche."
