SURPRISE! A-Rod won the AL MVP!

Perhaps "surprise" is not quite the right term in this case - something more along the lines of "um, yeah" or "had this really not been announced yet?" would probably be more appropriate. It wasn't an unanimous vote, since 2 voters gave Magglio Ordonez their first-place points, but he still won by quite the landslide.

Now that we know that A-Rod will be a Yank for the next 10 years of his career (theoretically the remainder of his career, really), we can hopefully consider this just his 2nd of many MVP's he'll be rocking.

Yeah, and some rings would be nice too.

I hate to be the one to do this, but it is probably better that it comes from a fan rather than one of the many trolls that just love to see you make mistakes, point it out in the comments section, and then call you names. I do believe that you meant "unanimous" rather than anonymous.

    Hey Chickers!

Just stopped in to say that everybody up here in Boston is still all warm and fuzzy inside and still glowing about the World Series Champs!

Even more good news yesterday. Our MVP will be back in Boston next year Mike Lowell, while your MVP: Albatros-Rod will be back for you guys!

Wouldn't want it any other way!

I'll take my World Series MVP over your American League MVP anytime!

I bet Alex wishes he could be a World Series MVP. Too bad he's "Stone-Cold in October"

    tata

    for now!

You are my anonymous choice for YankeeLoser of the year!
