His latest trip on the crazy/truth train, in response to a reporter's question about whether he'll bench the slumerific Konerko: "I don't know. I need to get drunk and think about it.'' That is priceless! You need to have a separate column for him like "Yep, he said it - today" kinda thing.
Whats your take on players/coaches and interviews? Do you prefer the Ozzie types that just say it or, like my brother says, guys like Jeter that always use the canned politically correct and boring responses? I am guessing the former.... He really does hate listening to just about any interview from a Yankee though, says they all seem robotic and scripted almost in their responses.
