10 Second Update
Saturday, August 11, 2007
I'm in California for the week and heading to Disneyland today with the YCS's (Yankees Chick Sisters, obv), but even the lure of churros, Space Mountain, and crying children hopped up on sugar cannot deter me from my giddy glee over the latest and greatest Yankees news. To summarize:
  • Officially just 5 games back from the Red Sox. DO NOT give up hope on the division. We play them 6 more times and have plenty of time to make up ground with other teams, too. I may not have faith in god, but my faith in Jeter and his Gang is fully in tact.
  • Tied for first place in the AL Wildcard hunt with the Mariners. 'Nuff said.

And with that said, it's off to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I occasionally read your blog even though I am a life long Met Fan, and yes, an anti-Yankee fan (Which I admit proudly). Still, I thought you might be interested that on my Met Blog Today I actually praised Roger Clemens (even though it really hurt).

I was listening to XM the other day and one of the Red Sox announcers was saying there was no way the Yankees could catch them. As soon as he said that I knew we will catch them.

    Sigh..............

If any team can blow a 14 1/2 game lead, it's my Red Sox. Lord knows, there is history on this subject..........

    :-(

    Chickers,

Don't count your chickers before they hatch!

The Sox are still the BEST TEAM in BASEBALL and will prevail.

    The Nation is not panicking!

Just like when we were down 3-0 in the ALCS in 2004 and came back and won. Who was that team we played?..

    ..oh yeah...I forgot!

The Yanks will choke again when the pressure ise on!

WOW 3-0! Almost as good as those 26 rings you all talk about from WAYYYYYYYY back when! Were you even alive to see the one back in 2000?

Enjoy last weekend while you can, because here come the Angels!!!!! Then Detroit for 8 and we'll come through the Stadium and finish it off at the end of the month!

You have to admit it: this all sure is FUN! Isn't it? and I wouldn't want it any other way! Yankees/Red Sox!!!!!!!
