I know they don't get much notice around the ol' Yankees Chick blog, but there is a whole other league besides the one the Yanks play in, and they participate in the post-season as well. Expand your horizons by watching this video, you ethnocentric fools! Labels: other teams, post-season, video |

The Padres pitching has faltered lately, and their bullpen and rotation are showing some wear (aside from Peavy, of course).
Even though the NL looks overmatched, the Mets can still throw a rotation of Pedro, Glavine, Duque (health pending), Maine and Perez into the mix. I'll take my chances with those guys over most rotations, including the Yankees.

I liked this video, and will check out the Bradley video. I have to plead guilty to forgetting the "other league" as well due to concentrating on the AL Central. Sorry to nitpick, but is it possible to set your camera differently? It seems like you're looking a tad off-center of the middle of the picture, and that you could fix it with a camera move.
I kind of like the Cubs, just because they've gotten expectations down so low. But there's still a lot of gaps on that team; Zambrano is so inconsistent.

In fairness to Bradley (who I am no fan of) the first base umpire goaded that problem. I think this may end up being a good thing for baseball... the umpiring this year has been terrible, and it needs to be fixed. The umpires are over playing their hands, they think they are the stars of the show.
I see some legal actions coming from Bradley on this. He has some strong evidence going for him.
Aside from that, with his knee getting injured, it will probably end up hurting the Pads down the last few games, and even if they squeeze in the postseason, I don't think they will prevail.
With the WS, once a team gets there, it can be won by either AL or NL, even though the competition doesn't seem to be there.
Just think of how the Yankees had struggled against the NL this year. Anything is possible in baseball. Heck, a team back 14.5 games can make a comeback and possibly take the division.

I know it's a little late, but welcome home. You're only a 40 minute drive from me now. I'm not a stalker, I promise. Go Yanks, 1978 repeat!

I visit this site often and rarely leave a comment, but mcbias advising that you move your camera made me view this blog in a new light. Mo, the positioning looks fine to me.
